When my friends and I started a weekly poker night in Seattle, we swore that we wouldn't be playing all those "silly" games that other people play when they "say" that they're playing poker.  We were "going to play STRAIGHT POKER: Seven card stud, five card draw," and that was about it.

That lasted about a week, and we were wanting a little variation in our games. The variations that we played have been laid down onto paper, read from the Internet, from Hoyle's book of games, and from the memories of a half dozen people.  I wanted to get them all collected here so that everyone can enjoy them too (ok, ok, it was really because I can never remember a damn thing!).

Here is a PRINTABLE PAGE with all of the games.

I would like to offer thanks to the following for their help in the list:

Lee Roy Burns (my Grandfather), Jeremy Blair, Jeff Jones, Hoyle, Peter Sarrett, and everyone else who contributed and  that I didn't remember.
